The Softglass Core Water Pipe combines thick borosilicate glass with protective silicone accents and some genuinely useful built-in storage. At 9" tall, it's a full-size water pipe with a 14mm glass bowl and 4" downstem, surrounded by a silicone grip and foot that add stability and help protect the glass during everyday handling.
What really sets the Core apart, though, is how much of your usual setup it keeps attached to the pipe itself.
The Core is designed for people who are tired of looking around for the lighter, poker, or cap every time they want to use their water pipe.
A magnetic silicone sleeve provides a spot for a standard lighter and stores the included metal clearing tool right on the pipe. The silicone foot also stores covers for both the bowl/joint and mouthpiece, giving you a way to close up the openings when the piece isn't being used.
We also like the combination of materials. You still get a borosilicate glass chamber, downstem, and bowl, while silicone is used where its grip, stability, and added impact protection are actually useful.

For the borosilicate glass, Softglass recommends a mixture of sea salt and at least 70% isopropyl alcohol.
For the silicone components, use at least 70% isopropyl alcohol, rinse thoroughly with water, and allow them to dry completely. Alcohol may temporarily cause the silicone to expand, so give everything time to return to its normal fit before reassembling.
